As a long time Windows user I had hoped this book would focus on the difference between Win 8 and earlier versions. Instead there was a lot of basic stuff that any experience Windows user already would know. Having said that, the book was very well formatted for the Kindle, which was a breath of fresh air, but in the end content is more important than form.

I looked at several windows 8 books and decided on this one. The author presents ideas very clearly with lots of illustrations, and adds a great sense of humor as well.
