Tips are practical ..., October 29, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Top 100 Tips for Windows 8 (Kindle Edition) I picked this up and went through it before I had my computer with Windows 8. It made NO sense. I'm one of those people who are very hands on.
However, I reopened the book once I had my computer for two days. I was amazed at how much more sense it made. I was able to personalize my computer in ways I never knew existed. I learned loads of shortcuts.
Best of all, I have it in my Kindle on my laptop, and as I encounter the different suggestions, I can put them into play.
I have a touchscreen laptop, but use the mouse a lot, so I very much appreciate having both the touch and mouse options! Learned a lot, and glad I picked this up.

My tip is to be more familar with Windows 8 before reading this book., December 9, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Top 100 Tips for Windows 8 (Kindle Edition) Tips were very helpful, however,the book took for granted you had some experience with Windows 8 before reading the book, which I did not. I would have liked the book to have been a little more detailed in some of the tips as terms were used I was unfamilar with. Good read after you become somewhat familar with Windows 8.
