Best Windows 8 Book, October 13, 2012 This review is from: My Windows 8 (Paperback) After spending two days going cover to cover through Katherine Murray's book, I have finally become a believer in Windows 8. I had been limping along for six months on the pre-release version, but now I feel like a power user and will be dumping Windows 7 on October 26, when Windows 8 is officially released. I had looked through all the other Windows 8 books on Amazon and at Barnes & Noble, but Murray's book makes the best user of graphics and color, while covering all the relevant topics in a clear, logical way. Bottom line: I've stopped complaining about all the changes in Windows because Murray made sense of all of Microsoft's decisions. I've been weaned from Windows 7 and will never look back.
