Microsoft Marketing, November 30, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Introducing Windows Server 2012 (Kindle Edition) Not a lot of technical content, feels like a product of the marketing department. It is not an easy read.

Excellent Introduction to New Operating System, September 4, 2012 By James Taylor "apreacher" (Miami, FL USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Introducing Windows Server 2012 (Paperback) This is an excellent introduction to Windows Server 2012, highlighting exciting new features, and heralding Microsoft's migration to the cloud.
However, please be aware that as of today, September 5, this ebook is still based on the beta edition of Server 2012, and not the RTM edition of Server 2012 that was released yesterday.
However, you can now get the updated version of this ebook that's based on the RTM edition of Server 2012 in kindle format (.mobi) direct from Microsoft Press here:[...]

Cheap PR gimmick from Microsoft Press, January 9, 2013 This review is from: Introducing Windows Server 2012 (Paperback) I got the e-book for free from a Microsoft website for students, and now I realize why...the entire book is simply a cheap PR gimmick from MS to tell you how wonderful Server 2012 is. No examples, no specifics, etc. No instructions on how to install or configure. I looked on Amazon for an Installation and Configuration book, and the only other one with a review is for Server 2012 beta. I'd suggest everyone wait until Server 2012 has been out there for a while for someone to write a better book!
