Let me begin by saying that I wasn't expecting much for the price. I was just hoping it wouldn't turn out to be a complete piece of crap. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it and discovered that the case was quite functional. The reviews said that the magnetic flap wouldn't stay closed. I did initially have this problem as well, but after exercising the imitation leather during normal use, the flap began to operate as it should. The key is to position the Surface correctly in the case by pushing it in fully before attaching the keyboard and closing it. For me, after packing it in my book bag and using it a few times, the flap began to stay perfectly closed.. kind of like exercising a new baseball glove. It now stays closed even when held at the opposite end, holding it up side down and allowing gravity to tug at the magnetic flap (In the beginning the flap would pop open if held in this way). Nice product overall..., December 23, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: KHOMO � Leather Case For Microsoft Surface RT And Surface Pro Windows 8 tablet (Personal Computers) But I had to return it. It did not accommodate the type pad for the surface. This will only fit the touch pad, which I have no intention of buying at this point. Other than that, I would've kept the case. I wish they would have specified in the description that this only worked for the touch pad.

The only problem is that the case cannot be completely closed when the tablet is connecting with type cover keyboard. If you are using a touch cover, it may not be a problem.
